Space leaps - Aimlessly (3)
Leaping through celestial branches yielding to unknown changes.
Hi everyone, so much has happened since my last update (Read the beginning of the journey here).
I was tired of restlessly swimming through the waters of the void, hopping from a celestial lily pad to another…
That’s why I’ve decided to take a break on this cool planet I found. As I hopped on it, my body started transforming again.
Finally I’m no longer a space frog!
My new aspect pleases me more than the previous one even though, unfortunately, I’m not a dragon yet.
I don’t know who, or what, decides which appearance I will assume, but it did me a favor this time.
I grew a fur and I haven’t lost my habit of jumping.
I truly loved it when I was a frog, and now I can make even more incredible leaps between the trees of this planet where I’ve settled.
My past life has decided to manifest again in a different form and I can't make sense of it.
It appears to be a synchronicity—a part of my soul reflected into physical existence.
Sometimes reality presents us with paradoxical choices, and now that I’m a celestial squirrel, I realize it.
On one hand, I should use the experience gained as a frog to teach my new peers how to jump better; on the other, I truly desire to become a dragon and move forward with life.
This form isn't bad, and for some time I'll exploit it as much as possible, but I'll keep my focus on my primary goal.
I will try to enjoy this strange journey from now on!
Ever since I transcended my human form to reach the depths of the cosmos, I'm no longer that weak jellyfish drifting with the current.
I've learned to set goals for myself and enjoy how my body changes as I search for something that satisfies me.
But let’s tell ourselves a truth: jellyfish, frogs, and squirrels are truly hideous.
I feel like, just as I wasn't a frog forever, I won't be a hamster either, and I'll transcend into something else…
Fingers still crossed for a dragon.
Thanks for reading, love y’all.
Don’t be a solitary squirrel, make your mind leap! I’m curious to hear:

The journey is intriguing and I can understand the dragon thing. But to be honest (there's that word again!), when I hear "frog", I say, "Hold on now, I would be willing to pause the transformations long enough to be Mr. The Toad for a while."
You wrote this really well, Rick!We are all constantly exploring and striving to surpass our past, you know? Your article reminded me of a Chinese saying—people here call themselves “descendants of the dragon.” My younger brother even has a dragon tattoo. We also have an expression, wàng zǐ chéng lóng, which means parents hope their children will grow up to be successful, like a dragon.😀
